Custom Home Construction: Tim has experience in every aspect of custom home construction and in addition to Keyhole's own projects has worked on several homes in Poplar Ridge.

Land Development: We can handle all aspects of development including the initial conceptual design, engineering site plans, clearing and grading the site, facilitating the design of sewer systems, and dealing with all county utility services to secure water, gas and power.

Design/Concept Consultation: We work with homeowners, architects and interior designers to create or modify a home with results that exceed your expectations. Whether choosing house plans, paint colors or fixtures, we are a valuable creative resource.

Remodeling and Historic Restoration: The Petrees have twice lived in the middle of their own home restorations and fully appreciate the toll it takes on your home and family life.

We are licensed in the state of North Carolina for both residential and commercial work. We hold an unlimited license which means we have demonstrated to the Licensing Board for General Contractors that we possess the qualifications and knowledge and are financially stable enough to handle projects of any size. While we are qualified to handle any job, our passion lies in creating distinctive quality custom homes reminiscent of the historic homes we love so much. We have a particular appreciation for Craftsman or Arts & Crafts style bungalows but our creativity allows us to see the possibilities of any design or style. We would love the opportunity to work with you to achieve your dreams for your home.

Upon completion of your project, Keyhole Construction will provide you with an Owner's Manual that will assist you in understanding and maintaining the various systems installed in your home. It will include all drawings or blueprints showing how it was constructed, where the utility service lines, septic systems or other covered up systems are located and where you can access them. It will also contain copies of contracts, change orders, names and contact information of all subcontractors as well as any other information you might need about fixtures or appliances that went into your home. There will be instructions for operating and maintaining all heating and cooling systems, water heaters, fireplaces and any other appliances we install.

All new construction homes include an additional layer of security through a third party warranty.
